I can’t stand the way Mac OS X icons are all different shapes and sizes. Call me a fascist. Luckily, with many recent applications (Twitter, Reeder, Sparrow Mail), Mac OS X is beginning to take visual vocabulary from iOS. Apple is also moving iOS ideas to their desktop operating system with 10.7 Lion. Hopefully, the Mac App Store will bring over the unification of icon sizes.
It’s already happening with some applications. So, keep ‘em coming.
P.S. I don’t understand why Twitter isn’t using the iOS icon. The desktop icon is ridiculously ugly compared to its mobile equivalent.
